Step 1: RETENTION OF EXPERTS/NOTICE TO MEMBERS
With the Association's Construction and Cost Estimation Experts, legal counsel will assist the Board of Directors in analyzing the necessity and selection of testing and in notifying members of the claim. The expert's purpose will be three fold: (1) to determine the defective components; (2) to determine the preferred and alternative methodologies of repair of each component and the cost of repair; and (3) restoration or replacement. Notice of the claim to members is required under a part of the CCIOA, that may apply.
